About Us

Why we built it

Creators, brands and viewers ask this question every day. The answer is hard to find, because YouTube does not publish it. We read the public signs of a channel and give one clear answer.

How it works

You paste a channel link, name or @handle. The checker reads the public channel page and the ad flag on the recent uploads, month by month. Then it answers monetized or not monetized. The features page lists every sign that the checker looks at.

What we promise

• We use public information only.
• We never ask for a password or a login.
• We show the evidence beside every answer, so you can judge it yourself.
• When you tell us that an answer is wrong, we look at it and fix the checker.

Not part of YouTube

Monetized Checker is an independent website. It is not part of YouTube or Google, and they do not endorse it. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.
